Bentwood Boxes

Bent wood boxes (Tine Boxes) have a long and colorful history. Many Scandinavian cultures have made their own unique versions of them. In Norway, examples of these boxes have been unearthed in the remains of Viking ships dating from 840 AD.
The boxes were used for lunch boxes, storing cheese, dried meat, household items and much more. No nails, screws or glue was used in their construction.

Once you have learned the basics, you will be able to continue design boxes of your own.
